My stay at the hotel was pretty good overall. The room could have been a bit more spacious for a $50 room, but it was very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The location was convenient, close to various restaurants and retail stores, but getting there was a bit tough. The dining experience was simple but sufficient, offering basic breakfast options. The facilities were decent, with some areas needing improvement.

My stay at Garden State Inn was a complete disaster. The room was unsanitary, infested with roaches and ants, and had malfunctioning amenities. The staff was unhelpful and rude when confronted with the issues. Definitely not a place I would recommend staying at.

The hotel is not a good comfortable room at all; they need to do better with roaches in bed, toilet overflowing, bathroom sink stopping up, disgusting bathtub, flies, and nasty hairs all over the place. There is also no room service available at all. Stay away from Garden State, although the odd smell initially disappeared once the AC was turned on. My room on the second floor at the end of the hall looked out at the hall wall.

The service was very friendly and inviting. The staff couldn't do enough for us, from happily providing extra towels and offering 24-hour coffee to giving extra pens and menus. This level of service is rare in most places we have stayed.

The location was convenient and perfect for where I was going. It is well stocked with something for everyone, near great restaurants, and very close to the Airport in Absecon. Paid $70 on a Friday evening to Ray.
